My Personal Interest: Men are bound to be a good steward

Meaning of steward someone who manages property or other affairs for someone else or one having charge of buildings or grounds or animals this are the closest meaning of steward.

In the Old testament

Genesis 1 verse 28 Adam and Eve created

God blessed them and said to them "Be fruitful and increase in number fill the earth and subdue it rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

In New Testament

1Corinthians 16:2 The Collection of God's People

On the first day of every week each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up , so that when I come no collection will have to be made.

Matthew 25:14-17 The Parable of the Talents

Again it will be like a man going on a journey who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents of money to another two talents and to another one talent each according to his ability.Then he went on his journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once and received the five talents put his money to work and gained five more. So also the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went of dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.

In the old testament Men in general statements are defined more closely by specific statements. So is it here. The meaning of ‘rule’ and ‘subdue’ by humans in Genesis 1 are illustrated by this verse. The two words used in the Hebrew text, ‘avad and shamar have a variety of nuances. The first, ‘avad, can mean to serve, even as a slave, to work, and to worship. Instead of “care for it,” we could translate that the man was placed in the garden “to serve it.” Likewise, shamar has a range of meanings from ‘guard’ to ‘preserve’ and to ‘keep’ as in “keeping the commandments.” Instead of the translation “maintain” we could translate, “to preserve it.” Surely humans are transcendent to the natural world, but their rule of it is more like that of a nursemaid than that of a tyrant.

In the New testament It tells us how to be thrifty and in decision making must be prosperous that make everybody happy and even god. We hope we don't want to be a single talent just hid his money to the ground. We had a lots of talent I hope we use them wisely and prosperously.
